The Specialized Program Counselor ensures that all shooting sports activities occur in a safe and age-appropriate manner and hold relevant certifications. The Specialized Program Counselor also assists the Camp Director with other duties related to programming and camper supervision. Inform Camp Director of program supplies needed on a regular basis. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Oversee the Challenge Course program area and all equipment; ensure the challenge course program area is stocked with all supplies necessary to run program.     "qualifications": "<p> </p>\n\n<p>Minimum Qualification Standards: </p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Be at least 21 years of age. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Believe in the Girl Scout mission. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Prior experience teaching or working with children a must. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Documented experience with archery, tomahawk throwing and/or riflery. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Documented experience with challenge courses (high and low) </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Possess good character, integrity, patience, sense of humor, enthusiasm, and willing to be a part of the camp community. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Skills related to lesson planning and implementation, such as: time management, creativity, flexibility, and public speaking skills. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>A GSNYPENN approved archery and tomahawk training, or willingness to obtain. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Current First Aid and CPR training, or willingness to obtain during pre-camp training. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>“Stop The Bleed”, Wilderness First Aid or comparable training that includes tourniquet training.  <br />\n\t <br />\n\tKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:   </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Possess good character, integrity, patience, sense of humor, enthusiasm, a high level of flexibility, and willingness to be a part of the camp community. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ability to work productively in a fast paced, stressful environment. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p>Physical and Mental Requirements: </p>\n\n<p>Light mental and visual attention required for performing work where there is some variety but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities.
