    "description": "<p><span style=\"color: rgb(185, 34, 21); font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">The Opportunity</span></p>\n<p>The Timekeeper position is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of timekeeping and scorekeeping for games held at the Bell Sensplex or Richcraft Sensplex or Cavanagh Sensplex are executed properly. This position will remain open for future hiring purposes. </p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(185, 34, 21); font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ongoing Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Timekeeping</span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> - Use the timeclock to accurately start/stop the clock, add goals, penalties, change periods.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Game sheet</span> </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">- Recording goals, assists, penalties on the provided game sheet.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Online statistics</span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> - Transpose the information recorded on the game sheet into the online statistics software using the provided iPad.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Announcing </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">- Use the provided microphone to announce goals, assists, penalties, final minute of play, and other scripts occasionally assigned by your supervisor.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Music</span> -</span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> Play music during warm-ups and stoppages.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Communicate any critical issues to the supervisor by radio, such as injuries, major penalties, ejections, schedule issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Checking the ID of players to determine eligibility, when requested by the supervisor.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ensure on and off ice problems are resolved professionally and according to league policy.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Other duties as assigned by the supervisor/convener.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications (what we look for)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be 15 years of age or older.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be able to work flexible hours (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Familiar with the rules of hockey (experience as a player, coach, or referee in organized minor hockey as asset)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be comfortable with speaking to crowds of people.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Previous customer service experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Able to work under pressure.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Strong work ethic.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Team player.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Responsible and dependable.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Strong problem-solving skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Timekeeping experience is an asset, but not required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must provide a clear Police Records Check for service with the vulnerable sector</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(185, 34, 21);
