Description
The Electronic System Technician works a team of 3 electricians: 2 electrical systems technicians and 1 working supervisor.
The team is tasked with maintaining all electrical systems at the City of Valdosta’s water treatment facilities. This includes 2 wastewater treatment plants, 36 wastewater pumping stations, and 1 drinking water treatment plant. Work entails maintaining and repairing automated industrial control systems and their associated equipment, along with occasional facilities maintenance type tasks such as maintaining lighting and receptacles. Networking/IT type tasks, as well as various programming tasks will also be required. Overtime/after-hours emergency work is occasionally required.
