In this role, you’ll work alongside an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nursing care, support residents’ physical and emotional well-being, and contribute to care planning, assessments, and ongoing evaluations. You’ll practice with autonomy while having the support of RNs when needed, ensuring safe and effective care. Developed in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the BC Nurses' Union (BCNU), and health organizations across British Columbia, mNPR provides a consistent and transparent approach to staffing that supports safe nursing practice and high-quality patient care. Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant. The first community hospice on Vancouver's West Side and is situated in a beautiful location on the University of British Columbia's campus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Your Day to Day:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Delivers safe, respectful nursing care while prioritizing individualized care plans.</p></li>\n <li><p>Performs comprehensive assessments and reports abnormal findings to RN or team members.</p></li>\n <li><p>Communicates with physicians and carries out and processes medical orders accurately.</p></li>\n <li><p>Documents all care, treatments, and patient progress in appropriate systems.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assists with patient admissions, transfers, and preparation for procedures.</p></li>\n <li><p>Administers medications (excluding IV) and monitors patient responses.</p></li>\n <li><p>Responds to emergencies and reports incidents according to protocols.</p></li>\n <li><p>Supports patient and family education, encouraging participation in care decisions.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team on care planning and discharge preparation.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assists with staff orientation, participates in meetings, and performs basic clerical and equipment-related duties.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Who We Are:</strong></p>\n<p>Providence Health Care is one of the largest faith-based health care organizations in Canada.
