We also provide a 401(k) savings plan, Employee Assistance Program, professional development and advancement opportunities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join our team, be part of the solution, support evolving innovations, and help us continue providing quality products, all while being supported by strong leadership and a comprehensive and competitive benefits program.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Maintenance Mechanic position, <strong><u>with a starting rate of $36.45/hour</u></strong>, provides you with plenty of opportunities to develop and grow your career with Buzzi Unicem USA.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Interprets and works from prints and technical instructions.</li>\n   <li>Furnishes and uses own complement of hand tools, company tools and equipment.</li>\n   <li>Keeps work area and equipment neat and clean.</li>\n   <li>Installs, tests, maintains and repairs all mechanical equipment in accordance with regulations and specifications; fits, assembles, erects, installs, maintains and repairs mechanical plant and equipment.</li>\n   <li>Inspects, tests and aligns testing equipment throughout the plant.</li>\n   <li>Installs, troubleshoots, adjusts, services, maintains and repairs mechanical equipment for various types of lifts and conveyor belts.</li>\n   <li>Maintains the machines and equipment in efficient operating condition.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent from accredited institution is required</li>\n <li>Industrial Maintenance Experience in a Plant type setting is required</li>\n <li>Able to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime as required</li>\n <li>Able to work rotating shifts</li>\n <li>Speak, read, write and understand English</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently, without constant supervision</li>\n <li>Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions</li>\n <li>In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders and walk on mixed terrain and in confined spaces</li>\n <li>Complete and pass required assessment tests (Wonderlic and Ramsay MECTEST)</li>\n <li>Must possess a working knowledge of maintenance and welding</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Buzzi Unicem USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  </em><em>Please note that candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and that only qualified candidates will be contacted. </em></p>\n<p> </p>",
