The Fixture Repair Specialist is based at the new Construction Equipment facility in Salina, KS. This position may require occasional overnight travel for training purposes.&nbsp;</span></p><p style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;margin-left:0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;line-height:normal;'><strong><span style='font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;color:#2D2D2D;'>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</span></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left:-0.25in;\"><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualize product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Compute dimensions, plan layout, and determine assembly method and sequence of operations.</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Measure, mark, and scribe metal stock for machining.</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, shaper, and grinder, to machine parts, and verify conformance of machined parts to fixture drawing specifications.</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Lift machined parts and positions and secures parts on surface plate or worktable.</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Verify dimensions, alignments, pneumatic and electrical connections.</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Examine standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures, and recommends design modifications regarding construction and functionality based on weld cell and part requirements.</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Develop specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draws or sketches design of product.</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Communicate with operators who run fixtures to get feedback on performance and potential design changes</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Identify why fixtures are not performing and create solutions to resolve problem.</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Order parts from different vendors and works with vendors to understand part needed.</span></li><li><span style='line-height:107%;font-family:\"Tahoma\",sans-serif;font-size:16px;'>Assist maintenance with fixture PM&rsquo;s.
