    "description_html": "<p>SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p><p>The purpose of the Inventory Control Supervisor is to manage the process of verifying the accuracy of inventory levels in all assigned warehouses and pump shops to support the maintenance of the correct quantity and quality of inventory to optimize inventory investment and customer service.</p><p>SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:</p><p>Verify inventory in all assigned locations using corporate and site-specific cycle count procedures.</p><p>Research transaction histories in the inventory operating system to determine reasons for errors and variances and maintain a record of reported errors to include the type or errors and the responsible persons.</p><p>Generate daily cycle count sheets, entering the daily count into the inventory operating system and requesting recounts where the variance exceeds acceptable tolerance.</p><p>Oversight of all physical counts in the assigned locations ensuring the count is performed according to company policy, assisting with variance research, and submitting requests for approvals on variance along with explanations and backup documentation.</p><p>Provide guidance and assistance to assigned locations for maintenance and accuracy of bin locations in the inventory operating system which may require travel to the site to assist with the organization and setup of inventory and shelving for proper bin locations.</p><p>Process inventory transactions as required by the assigned warehouses in the operating system and assist with evaluations to establish inventory on hand while reporting unusable inventory in the various locations.</p><p>Monitor all negative and in-transit inventory.</p><p>Communicate with assigned locations regarding any inventory transactions or issues.</p><p>Prepare monthly inventory accuracy reports for management.</p><p>All other tasks as assigned.</p><p>Job Requirements</p>",
