    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>i3 is seeking a Mid-Level Network Administrator. The successful candidate should have a thorough knowledge of network architecture, design, implementation, and support. The candidate must be capable of working in both a team environment on enterprise projects and be capable of working independently to resolve technical issues. Knowledge of tactical networks and communication systems is beneficial. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Install, configure and maintain LAN and WAN system hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) using primarily Cisco hardware. </li>\n <li>Design, maintain and document network solutions. </li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of network protocols. </li>\n <li>Secure networks by developing network access controls and policies that align with DISA STIGs. </li>\n <li>Ensure system security in compliance with Department of War and customer policies. </li>\n <li>Understand network security devices and their output. </li>\n <li>Ensure reliable backup and recovery from circuit and hardware outages. </li>\n <li>Provides network performance statistics, reports and recommendations for network enhancements. </li>\n <li>Apply firmware and software patches as required for hardware. </li>\n <li>Perform other hardware and software tasks as assigned. </li>\n <li>Implement and understand Software Defined Networking (SDN) architectures.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS degree in related discipline preferred. </li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years experience with network architecture, design, implementation, and support.</li>\n <li>Certifications: CCNA or greater. </li>\n <li>Must have Security+ certification.</li>\n <li>Experience with Cisco IOS installation, maintenance and STIG management as required for switching, routing and firewall environments at advance configuration and troubleshooting skill levels. </li>\n <li>Must be familiar with enterprise and/or data center protocols such as Routing (BGP, OSPF), Layer 2 (STP, EtherChannel), and Layer 3 (SVI, VXLAN).</li>\n <li>Experience with configuring and maintaining Cisco ISE, FMS, and ACI desired.</li>\n <li>Experience implementing and maintaining DoD networks in a multi-vendor environment. </li>\n <li>Experience working with system/network vulnerability scanning tools required. </li>\n <li>Able to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment. </li>\n <li>Cisco DNA Center experience desired. </li>\n <li>Active Secret security clearance required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><u>Knowledge/Skills </u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of office administration and procedures. </li>\n <li>Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully. </li>\n <li>Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner. </li>\n <li>Work independently with accountability for accurate and complete results. </li>\n <li>Be extremely organized and exceptionally detail oriented. </li>\n <li>Work well both independently and in a team environment. </li>\n <li>Be energized by a fast-paced work environment. </li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate with others effectively. </li>\n <li>Analyze information and respond appropriately. </li>\n <li>Manage time wisely and prioritize tasks. </li>\n <li>Provide superior customer service.  </li>\n <li>Multi-task in a pleasant manner. </li>\n <li>Work well under pressure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><u>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</li>\n <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. </li>\n <li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. </li>\n <li>Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion.
