At UnityPoint Health, <strong>you </strong>matter.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>.3 FTE- 1–12-hour shift per week </li>\n <li>Concierge urgent care model </li>\n <li>Clinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year</li>\n <li>Weekend and holiday rotation </li>\n <li>1 weekend every three weeks</li>\n <li>Required to work 1 Summer and 1 Winter holiday</li>\n <li>No call requirements </li>\n <li>Work with experience staff </li>\n <li>No appointments necessary </li>\n <li>Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injures</li>\n <li>Excellent assessment skills </li>\n <li>Work in a fast-paced environment </li>\n <li>Provide high quality care to all ages </li>\n <li>Offers select diagnostic tests (x-ray, lab, etc.) </li>\n <li>Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow up care, and educate patients</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant</li>\n <li>Board Certified</li>\n <li>1-2 years of experience preferred</li>\n <li>Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IA </li>\n <li>Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice</li>\n <li>Eligible to work in the United States</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Waterloo</strong></p>\n<p>Waterloo and Cedar Falls comprise a metro area of more than 107,000 residents who are proud to call the Cedar Valley home.
