As new technologies evolve throughout the construction industry, innovative ideas are required to maintain and deliver successful construction projects</p>\n<p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p>\n<p>Michael Baker International is actively seeking a Construction Inspector to join our Arkansas Construction Services Team. &nbsp;This position will primarily support projects in Central and/or Eastern Arkansas Area. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead inspection efforts on high-impact roadway, municipal, and airport infrastructure projects. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring construction quality, safety, and compliance with contract specifications, while working alongside a team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence in transportation development.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee daily inspections and testing of roadway/civil/airport construction materials, including earthwork, subgrade, base, and asphalt.</li>\n <li>Manage inspections of concrete installations such as barrier walls, bridge decks, MSE walls, and drilled shafts.</li>\n <li>Maintain detailed daily logs of construction activities, inspection results, and contractor performance.</li>\n <li>Ensure all work meets specifications and OSHA safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Interpret construction plans and specifications, and provide guidance to contractors and project stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Safety Enforcement: Promote and enforce safe work practices on-site. &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>What You Need to Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years of experience in construction inspection, of which two have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Arkansas CTTP certification is a plus.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Airport construction experience is a plus</li>\n <li>Survey experience is a plus&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must have excellent customer service skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Valid Arkansas driver’s license and pass an annual motor vehicle record check.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">The approximate compensation range for this position is $25/hr - $38/hr. This compensation range is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.&nbsp; Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.</p>",
