He/she will delegate care to the care teams and assign patients, ensuring that workload is balanced and delegates tasks appropriately, employing resources as needed to assure quality and efficient care. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Facilitates the admission, discharge and transfer of patients to ensure efficient patient flow.</li>\n <li>Ensures that patient care quality and throughput is expedited and patient satisfaction is at the highest level.</li>\n <li>Assists the Clinical Director in leading the patient care team to meet the needs of the customers and to achieve departmental objectives.</li>\n <li>Assumes responsibility and accountability for the direction and implementation of patient care services at the direction of the Clinical Director and in their absence. Assists the Clinical Director in coordinating interdepartmental and ancillary activities to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care. </li>\n <li>Assists Clinical Director in monitoring and evaluating the use of supplies, materials and other resources to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Mt. Laurel and Willingboro</strong> locations are only outpatient units, whereas the <strong>Special Test Unit (STU)</strong>, located on the sixth floor in the main hospital is an outpatient and inpatient unit. All are run by the hospital largely to serve diagnostic and therapeutic needs of the Gastroenterology Division.</p>\n<p>The most common gastroenterology procedures are upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. In the pulmonary suite (STU only), endoscopy of the airway procedures is performed, and are commonly called bronchoscopy.</p>\n<p>All units are staffed by surgical schedulers, patient service representatives, nurses, and GI technicians. Anesthesiology is present for all GI procedures. Nurses rotate between the admission (Pre op), procedure suites, recovery (PACU) and pre-admission testing. They must be familiar with all roles and procedures in the GI Unit.</p>\n<h2>Experience Required</h2>\n<p>A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a procedure department and/or medical surgical unit with 1 year of demonstrated leadership abilities.  </p>\n<h2>Education Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate from an NLN accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>License/Certification Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Current NJ- RN License (Registered Nurse)</p></li>\n <li><p>Current BLS (Basic Life Support)</p></li>\n <li><p>Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Monday–Friday, plus 1 Saturday per month; must be flexible</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Min ($)</h2>USD $37.00\n<h2>Salary Max ($)</h2>USD $61.00",
