This includes preparing surfaces, handling materials, operating basic equipment, and ensuring that asphalt paving projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Assist with Surface Preparation:</strong> Clear and prepare job sites by removing debris, vegetation, and other obstacles from asphalt surfaces before paving begins.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Material Handling:</strong> Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of materials such as asphalt, sand, gravel, and other materials needed for paving projects.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Operate Basic Equipment:</strong> Assist in the operation of basic equipment such as shovels, rakes, tampers, and other hand tools to help spread, level, and compact asphalt.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Assist in Asphalt Paving Operations:</strong> Work alongside paving crews to spread and level asphalt, ensuring the surface is smooth and consistent.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Monitor Quality Control:</strong> Assist in monitoring the quality of the asphalt as it is being applied to ensure proper thickness, texture, and smoothness.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Ensure Safety Compliance:</strong> Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
