          "text": "<p><strong>Location: Princeton, NJ</strong></p><p><br>\nAre you a senior consultant ready to build a book, grow a market, and lead a&#xa0;team? We’re hiring a Principal Engineer / Environmental Scientist / Geologist&#xa0;with an LSRP license to team with us to grow our office located in the vibrant,&#xa0;historical college town of Princeton, New Jersey. The Princeton location provides&#xa0;easy rail and highway access to New York City and Philadelphia, making it a&#xa0;great setting both for employees and for client meetings. This is a growth role&#xa0;for a seller-doer leader: you’ll set the go-to-market approach, open doors with<br>\nnew and existing clients, and deliver high-impact work—supported by strong&#xa0;technical resources and collaborative colleagues.</p><p><br>\nWe’re looking for an established Principal with 20+ years of consulting&#xa0;experience, and a track record of winning and expanding client work who has&#xa0;demonstrated experience as a New Jersey LSRP, including providing technical&#xa0;and regulatory guidance to clients in the role of a retained LSRP, preparing and&#xa0;submitting Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) and Spill Act associated&#xa0;documents, forms, reports, and applications, and leading technical consultations&#xa0;with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP).</p><p><br>\n<strong>Your new role</strong></p><p><br>\nAs a Principal, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor and market-facing growth&#xa0;leader—owning priority accounts, developing new client relationships, and&#xa0;building a durable pipeline for the region. You’ll pair technical credibility with&#xa0;commercial leadership to help clients manage environmental risk, meet&#xa0;regulatory obligations, and advance sustainability goals across sectors such as&#xa0;manufacturing, commercial/industrial, government, energy, legal and financial services, and&#xa0;insurance.</p><p><strong>Your key responsibilities will be:</strong></p><p><br>\n•&#xa0; &#xa0;Drive growth: build and execute a regional client development plan;&#xa0;cultivate relationships and open new opportunities.<br>\n•&#xa0; &#xa0;Win work: qualify leads, shape scopes, price strategically, and lead&#xa0;proposals/interviews through close.<br>\n•&#xa0; &#xa0;Grow accounts: deepen trusted-advisor relationships, identify cross-sell&#xa0;opportunities, and expand multi-service programs.<br>\n•&#xa0; &#xa0;Lead delivery: oversee complex engagements&#xa0;(scope/schedule/budget/quality) and bring the right experts to solve&#xa0;client challenges.<br>\n•&#xa0; &#xa0;Build the team: mentor and develop staff, support recruiting, and&#xa0;create repeatable delivery and sales playbooks.<br>\n•&#xa0; &#xa0;Represent the firm: engage with clients, regulators, and industry&#xa0;groups; speak/publish as appropriate to raise visibility.</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>From the moment you start at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you can continue to grow with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $162,000 to $210,500 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
