If you&#39;re passionate about your career and want to be part of a company that cares about its people, this is the job for you!</span></strong></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></span></p><p style=\"margin-left:8.35pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Operate and monitor a CNC robotic plasma cutting system (e.g., Lincoln Electric PythonX, Peddinghaus 1100) to process structural steel components &mdash; beams, channels, angles, tube, and plate &mdash; according to production drawings and cut files. This role is responsible for machine setup, material handling, in-process quality checks, and routine operator-level maintenance to keep throughput on schedule.</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:8.35pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></p><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Load, measure, and align raw material (beams, plate, tube) on infeed conveyors per part specifications</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Import and verify part/cut files in machine software (e.g., VersaFab, FullCircle CNC) against job drawings</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Launch and monitor automated cutting cycles; intervene on faults, torch issues, or material jams</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Perform first-piece and in-process inspections (dimensions, bevel angles, hole locations) using tape measure, square, and calipers; document per FPY/inspection procedures</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Mark, sort, and stage finished parts for downstream fitting/welding</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Perform daily operator maintenance: consumable changes (electrodes, nozzles, shield caps), dust collector checks, torch height sensor calibration</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Report material defects, machine alarms, or quality issues to supervisor/maintenance promptly</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with shop JSAs (material handling, crane/rigging where applicable)</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Track production counts and downtime for shift reporting</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>WHAT WE&rsquo;RE LOOKING FOR</strong></span></p><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">1+ years in a fabrication, CNC, or machine operation environment (structural steel preferred)</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Ability to read structural drawings/blueprints and basic GD&amp;T</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Basic computer literacy; comfort with touchscreen HMI and CNC software navigation</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Strong attention to detail and dimensional accuracy</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for full shift, and work around overhead crane operations</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Forklift/crane-assisted material handling experience a plus</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Prior experience on a robotic/CNC plasma system (PythonX, Peddinghaus, Voortman, etc.) preferred</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Familiarity with AWS D1.1 or structural fabrication tolerances preferred</li><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Basic troubleshooting of plasma consumables and torch alignment preferred</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:26.35pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>WHY JOIN EADS?</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Great Benefits:</strong> Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, and Flexible Spending Account.
