Estimating is now being done by an outsourced 3rd party, and the company feels they can better serve their clients by investing in an in-house Estimator to perform accurate bids and take-offs. This is an opportunity for a seasoned estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands Gulf Coast construction standards, and wants to play a major role in building scalable estimating processes from the ground up.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and manage 60–80 residential construction estimates per month</li>\n<li>Perform highly accurate material takeoffs directly from residential blueprints</li>\n<li>Analyze plans from multiple architects and engineers with speed and precision</li>\n<li>Estimate primarily ground-up single-family residential projects</li>\n<li>Support occasional multifamily, remodeling, and disaster recovery projects</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with purchasing and project management teams to align material orders with takeoffs</li>\n<li>Help optimize and improve internal estimating workflows and systems</li>\n<li>Work within takeoff software to create consistent, scalable estimating processes</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with coastal and windstorm construction requirements across TX, FL, AL, and NC</li>\n<li>Maintain detailed bid documentation and organized project records</li>\n<li>Contribute operational insight that improves cost control and field execution</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of residential construction estimating experience</li>\n<li>Strong experience estimating windstorm-rated and coastal residential projects</li>\n<li>Proficiency with takeoff software strongly preferred</li>\n<li>Experience with other takeoff software may be considered</li>\n<li>Ability to perform highly accurate takeoffs with minimal oversight</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of Gulf Coast building requirements and coastal construction standards</li>\n<li>Experience estimating ground-up single-family residential projects</li>\n<li>Able to manage high bid volume in a fast-paced environment</li>\n<li>Field construction experience transitioning into estimating is highly valued</li>\n<li>Xactimate experience is a plus but not required</li>\n<li>No degree required — practical experience and proven performance matter most</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong experience estimating windstorm-rated and coastal residential projects</li>\n<li>Proficiency with takeoff software strongly preferred</li>\n<li>Ability to perform highly accurate takeoffs with minimal oversight</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of Gulf Coast building requirements and coastal construction standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Xactimate experience is a plus but not required</li>\n<li>Field construction experience transitioning into estimating is highly valued</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pay range and compensation package</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Competitive base salary: $95K–$130K DOE</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Performance-based bonus opportunities</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Overtime potential available</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Full-time permanent position</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Stable long-term opportunity with strong project pipeline</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>401(k) with company contribution</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Paid time off + paid holidays</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Exposure to large-scale Gulf Coast residential and disaster recovery projects</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Equal Opportunity Statement</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an onsite role based in the Greater Houston area.
