    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Asset Management Public Operational Risk</p>\n<p>The Asset Management Public Operational Risk team is a First Line of Defense (1LoD) risk function responsible for identifying, assessing, managing, and monitoring operational risks within the Asset Management Public business. The team works in close partnership with investment, operations, technology, and distribution stakeholders to support effective risk ownership and ensure that key operational risks are identified, mitigated, and managed in alignment with the firm’s risk appetite and risk management framework.</p>\n<p>Position Overview</p>\n<p>This role sits within Asset Management Public Operational Risk and supports the proactive management of operational risks across Asset Management Public businesses. The role requires a strong understanding of business processes, operating models, and key elements of the operational risk management framework, with an emphasis on risk identification, control design and execution, issue management, and ongoing risk monitoring within the business.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner with business and functional stakeholders to identify, assess, and manage operational risks, taking a holistic and forward-looking view of the risk profile.</li>\n <li>Review and assess business changes (e.g., new products, process changes, volume shifts, system implementations, or vendor dependencies) to identify potential operational risk impacts and ensure appropriate controls are in place.</li>\n <li>Own and maintain comprehensive mappings of business processes, inherent risks, and key controls across Asset Management Public business segments.</li>\n <li>Monitor, analyze, and escalate operational risk events and near misses, including performing root-cause and thematic analysis to drive sustainable risk reduction.</li>\n <li>Leverage data analytics and reporting tools to enhance risk transparency, identify emerging risk trends, and support informed management decision-making.</li>\n <li>Prepare clear, concise, and actionable risk reporting for Asset Management Public leadership, highlighting key risk themes, control gaps, trends, and remediation progress.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications and Skills</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required</li>\n <li>1–3 years of experience in Asset Management, or a related function within financial services, preferably with a risk focus.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of operational risk management concepts, control design, issue management, and risk monitoring within a first-line environment.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and risk metrics development.</li>\n <li>Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate risk matters, challenges, and recommendations to senior management and executive-level stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Ability to partner confidently with business leaders and influence risk outcomes through clear, credible, and well-structured messaging.</li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; Tableau experience a plus.</li>\n</ul>",
