Responsible for demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served, including demonstrating knowledge of the principles of growth and development over a life span. Must be able to identify and categorize each patient’s age-specific grouping of needs, such as those of infant, adolescent, or geriatric patients. Responsible for compliance with other requirements affecting the Medical Center, such as State/Federal regulations, (i.e. HIPAA), PCMH, DSHS standards and Compliance Performance Improvement (CPI) standards.
