Equivalent experiencein a construction-related position will also be considered.</li>\n <li>At least 10yrs of heavy civil construction experience in the New York metro area.</li>\n <li>Experience estimating and developing bids for large heavy civil projects including but not limitedto bridges, transit, railways, and other types of heavy civil infrastructure.</li>\n <li>New York City Metro area and/or Northeast urban environment experience.</li>\n <li>Experience with alternative delivery contracts including but not limited to CMAR, Design-Build,CMGC, Progressive Design-Build, P3, etc.</li>\n <li>Experience collaborating with owners, subcontractors, and other project team members toprovide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility</li>\n <li>Previous field operations experience.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and time management skills.</li>\n <li>Safety oriented, 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA certificates are preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.</li>\n <li>Ability to function as a team-builder/player.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with the project and estimating team to lead the development of costs estimates andproposals for large complex heavy civil projects.</li>\n <li>Reviewing, analyzing and interpreting Contract Documents (specifications, drawings, andreference information) to develop detailed, comprehensive cost estimates for heavy civilconstruction projects</li>\n <li>Review accuracy of quantity takeoffs and material pricing.</li>\n <li>Preparing value engineering solutions; including cost, schedule, and Owner benefits.</li>\n <li>Preparing responses to Request for Qualifications (RFQ's) and Request for Proposals (RFP's).</li>\n <li>Work with the accounting and equipment departments to determine labor and equipment costs.</li>\n <li>Develop scopes of work and project schedules.</li>\n <li>Work with the marketing team to prepare proposals and technical documents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled, E-Verify Employer</p>",
