About the Role:
As a Grind Team Employee, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational efficiency and quality standards of our production or manufacturing processes. Your primary focus will be on performing precise grinding tasks that contribute to the creation of high-quality components or products. This position requires attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure that all work meets company and industry standards. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of mechanical tools and machinery. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Familiarity with grinding machines and measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. Basic knowledge of quality control processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications. Certification in machine operation or safety training. Responsibilities:
Operate grinding machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications and tolerances. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Follow all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of grinding equipment. Skills:
The required skills such as attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential for accurately operating grinding equipment and ensuring product quality.
