Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?</b></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p>The <b>Key Purpose</b> of this role is to provide engineering support to the maintenance function through the repairing, replacing or manufacturing of parts for plant, machines and equipment in manufacturing.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Roles and Responsibilities:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Comply with VPO safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and legislation.</li><li>Maintain safety and housekeeping standards</li><li>locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation and or systems.</li><li>Plan and prepare the job.</li><li>Carry out repairs / maintenance.</li><li>Operate workshop equipment.</li><li>Stop and start Utilities equipment.</li><li>Communicate effectively in teams.</li><li>Maintain, repair equipment, improvements and optimise plant and associated equipment</li><li>Contribute to self and team development</li><li>Complete work orders and backlog.</li><li>Satisfied customers – no rework.</li><li>Identification of unsafe practices.</li><li>Safety inspections conducted.</li><li>Safe maintenance practices audited.</li><li>Adherence to PPE policies.</li><li>Maintenance tools are in good working order</li><li>Comply with VPO requirements for LOTO and PTW</li></ul><p><br /><b>Minimum Requirements:</b></p><p></p><ul><li>N6/Diploma Mechanical</li><li>Trade tested Mechanical Fitter and Turner/ Millwright</li><li>2 year’s post trade test experience would be advantageous</li><li>Knowledge of the brewery utilities (Boilers/Compressors/Effluent) plant would be advantageous</li><li>Contractor management skills.</li><li>Problem Solving skills e.g. 5Why, AB reports, closing out CR 360.</li></ul><p><br /><b>Additional Information:</b></p><p><br /><b>BAND: </b>XI</p><p><br />ABInBev is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in line with ABInBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
