    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Build the Future with Us</strong></p><p>As a <strong>Specialist, HSEQ Assurance</strong>, <strong>(12 month contract)</strong> you will play a critical role in strengthening WSP’s commitment to excellence in Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Security. You will help ensure our projects, operations, and people meet the highest internal standards and external regulatory requirements—driving consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organisation.</p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Conduct internal HSEQ audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with corporate management systems and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Apply recognised standards (e.g., COR, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Prepare clear, actionable audit and assessment reports, including corrective and preventive action plans.</li><li>Plan and execute annual HSEQ audit and assurance programmes across operations and projects.</li><li>Monitor assurance metrics and analyse trends to support data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with regional, national, and sector teams to strengthen HSEQ performance and consistency.</li><li>Support external audits and liaise with certifying bodies to ensure successful outcomes.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Minimum <strong>5 years of experience</strong> in HSEQ auditing, assessment, or assurance roles.</li><li>Demonstrated experience auditing to <strong>ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001</strong> and <strong>COR</strong> standards.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and coach stakeholders.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight timelines.</li><li>Solid analytical and organisational skills, with a continuous‑improvement mindset.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Environmental Studies, or a related field.</li><li>Professional HSEQ or OHS designations (e.g., <strong>CRSP, CRBOH</strong>) and auditor certifications (IRCA / Exemplar Global) are assets.</li><li><strong>Bilingualism (English and French) is required</strong></li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>Why Choose WSP?
