Serving customers in government &amp; defense, medical, safety &amp; security, energy, industrial, and robotics markets, we are strategically positioned across the Americas, Europe, and Asia to meet the needs of a worldwide customer base.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>The Project Manager is primarily responsible for management of the new product development process (design, budget, schedule, documentation, customer interaction) and transition of new products to manufacturing. &nbsp;The Project Manager will lead and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team to ensure a successful design and transition to manufacturing of critical products, such as Lithium Ion batteries, chargers, and accessories.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Establish project schedules, budgets, quality plans (dfmea/pfmea, validation plans), and phase gate design reviews</li><li>Lead a cross-functional engineering team to develop new product designs, build and test prototypes, establish component supply base, and prepare documentation packages</li><li>Work with internal teams from engineering, manufacturing, testing, materials, finance, and quality</li><li>Ability to track and monitor progress vs. project plan and update management on a regular basis</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Mitigate risks associated with plan to assure timelines are maintained</li><li>Strong initiative to be hands on to solve problems with design and schedule.</li><li>Good communication and customer management skills&nbsp;</li><li>Domestic and international travel as required</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required, Engineering major preferred</li><li>Minimum 5 year&rsquo;s of project management experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office&nbsp;</li><li>Experience leading teams as well as working and traveling domestically and/or internationally</li><li>Ability to work effectively with team members under limited supervision in order to meet challenging schedule, technical, and cost objectives</li><li>Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components</li><li>Excellent communication skills required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong><br>&nbsp;Ultralife Corporation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
