    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Futures Recovery Healthcare is a state-licensed, Joint Commission accredited <strong><em>behavioral healthcare</em></strong> provider located in Tequesta, Florida of Palm Beach County. At Futures, we are committed to treating the whole person, not just the behaviors. We have a holistic approach that is patient-centered. Our medical, clinical, resident assistant, admissions, outreach, executive, culinary, alumni, and intake teams all work together to meet a patient where they are and allow them to heal and recover in a safe and nurturing environment, which is essential for whole healing and life-long recovery.</p><p>We are currently seeking a <strong>Primary Therapist</strong> with experience in either addictions and/or mental health disorders for our<strong>&nbsp;Mental Health Program.</strong> This position will be responsible for providing a strong therapeutic relationship to the patient, coordinating the course of treatment within the multidisciplinary treatment team through the formulation, implementation and guidance of a written treatment plan based upon assessed needs. The Primary Therapist will provide support to the family, integrating them in the treatment process when possible. The Primary Therapist will address relapse prevention as well as participate in the coordination of continuing care plan(s).</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Position Duties:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Facilitate individual, group and family therapy in accordance with license requirements, CARF/DCF standards and Futures of Palm Beach policies</li><li>Performs comprehensive assessment and treatment planning:</li><li>Elicits comprehensive information from the client and collateral sources</li><li>Analyzes and interprets the information to develop an accurate diagnostic impression</li><li>Translates and prioritizes information from the assessment into treatment goals and measurable objectives</li><li>Includes the client in the treatment planning process and recognizes the client&rsquo;s strengths and limitations</li><li>Establishes appropriate criteria to evaluate progress, and revises the plan as the client&rsquo;s needs change</li><li>Communicates rights and expectations for behavior to clients in a consistent and respectful manner</li><li>Provide didactic/educational lectures</li><li>Respond to off hour issues/concerns in a timely and effective manner</li><li>Effectively communicates relevant clinical information to the patient, family and Clinical staff</li></ul><p><u>&nbsp;</u></p><p><strong><u>Requirements and Characteristics:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Master degree from an accredited school in behavioral sciences, counseling, or related human services.</li><li>Licensed Professional- &nbsp;LMHC, LMFT or LCSW, and/or Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) , REQUIRED&nbsp;</li><li>A comprehensive understanding of the emotional and behavioral effects of addiction</li><li>Demonstrates a thorough understanding of family systems</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of the effects of addiction on the user and significant others; knowledge of the stages of drug use.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of the medical and psychiatric disorders commonly associated with addiction; knowledge of current research related to addiction and dual diagnosis.</li><li>Recognizes the behavior and attitudes of different stages of recovery.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of the most commonly accepted models of recovery and relapse prevention, including pharmacotherapy, 12-step programs and the multidisciplinary approach.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of basic diagnostic criteria for substance use, suicide risk, withdrawal symptoms and major psychiatric disorders.</li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of addiction and dual diagnosis as it affects persons from diverse backgrounds; is sensitive to different cultural, ethnic, racial, socio-economic, religious and gender values as they may affect recovery.</li><li>Demonstrate sensitivity in working with physically and mentally disabled within the larger treatment population.</li><li>Exceptional one on one communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail as well as strong organization skills</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to use clinical software and other software program</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Benefits:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>401(K) Matching Program</li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>We offer State Supervision to eligible employees</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Look us up at https://futuresrecoveryhealthcare.com/<br>&nbsp;<br>GMH Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p><p><br></p><p>#FUT123</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
