You will be manufacturing precision photonics components for the telecommunication, defence and life science sectors.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>WORKING PATTERN</strong></p><p>Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:00, Friday 08:00 - 15:00</p><p><br></p><p><strong>MANDATORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Adherence to all Company policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality</li><li>Working positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity</li><li>Promote and display the G&amp;H values: Customer focus, Passion, Unity, Precision</li></ul><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for the assembly of custom fibre optic products.</li><li>Assembly of product from drawing, sketches, procedures, or verbal instruction.</li><li>Fibre stripping, cleaving, polishing, and final laser testing of fibre sub-assemblies.</li><li>Process a wide range of fibre optic components to high quality standards.</li><li>Packing parts for shipments to detailed written procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES</strong></p><ul><li>Reliability</li><li>Team Work</li><li>Adaptability</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS AND ABILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Communication skills</li><li>Able to accurately follow work instructions</li><li>Recording information</li><li>Attention to detail</li></ul><p><strong>OUR BENEFITS INCLUDE</strong></p><ul><li>25 days holiday (increasing with service)</li><li>Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme</li><li>Enhanced Employee Assistance Programme</li><li>Cycle to work scheme</li></ul><p><em>Notes: This job description is not intended to be exhaustive in every respect, but rather to clearly define the fundamental purpose, responsibilities and dimensions for the role.
