Description

Wash Bay Attendant Musselwhite Mine Orla Mining is striving to be the emerging gold producer of choice with a geographically diversified asset base, a prospective development and exploration portfolio, an experienced management team with a successful  track record , and a high-quality board and shareholder base. Orla operates the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine, a gold and silver open-pit heap leach mine, located in Zacatecas State, Central Mexico. This low-cost operation is 100% owned by Orla, covers over 139,000 hectares, and includes a large sulphide mineral endowment located beneath the oxide resources.  We are also advancing permitting and development on our South Railroad Project, a feasibility-stage, open-pit heap leach project located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada. This project is part our larger South Carlin Complex which includes a prospective land package. We recently acquired the Musselwhite Mine located in Northern Ontario on Lake Opapimiskan , a gold mine with more than 25 years of operating history. The addition of Musselwhite has allowed Orla to more than double our gold production and provide a strategic entry into a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction . The Musselwhite Mine is highly prospective with potential to expand resources and mine life for years to come. Orla is building a legacy of excellence, respect and sustainable value through responsible gold mining. We are striving to create a net positive benefit for all and leaving a legacy beyond the life of our mines. We do this through building and operating high quality mines supported and led by an experienced team. We are custodians of the assets we run and the environments in which we operate , and we are committed to fostering a culture of excellence, care, and respect. Purpose We are seeking a dedicated Wash Bay Attendant to  join our Maintenance Department, reporting directly to the Musselwhite Mobile Maintenance Supervisor . The Wash Bay Attendant is responsible for cleaning, washing, and maintaining the upkeep of heavy equipment, light vehicles, and machinery used on-site at Musselwhite Mine . Responsibilities include: Safely operate pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning equipment to clean mining vehicles and equipment. Clean mud, dirt, oil, and debris from haul trucks, excavators, bulldozers, service trucks, and light vehicles. Ensure equipment is properly prepared for maintenance or inspection. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the wash bay and surrounding work areas. Perform routine inspections of cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs. Adhere to all site-specific safety protocols and PPE requirements. Complete job logs and daily work reports as required . Assist with minor facility maintenance and other general labor tasks as assigned. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous experience in a wash bay in a mining or heavy industry environment. Valid driver’s license . Ability to operate light vehicles and, optionally, equipment such as skid steers or forklifts advantageous . Ability to work within a team environment. Self-directed and self-motivated, demonstrating initiative to do more than is expected or required in the  position. Strong commitment to safety. Working Conditions: The schedule for this position will consist of 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per day. Compensation: • The base salary for this position is CAD$99,165 per year. • The Company offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), including an automatic 5% employer contribution, with the option for employees to receive up to an additional 4% employer match on employee contributions.
