In this role, you will work as part of a dynamic and diverse team advising and assisting clients on large and complex construction projects and issues. We are looking for experienced construction advisory consultants to lead and further expand our construction consulting services.  </p>\n<h2>You will be responsible for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Growing our construction consulting business with a particular focus on developing and managing new client relationships</li>\n <li>Providing strategic planning to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities and promote Exponent’s service offerings and brand</li>\n <li>Generating significant revenue to help build a profitable team of consultants</li>\n <li>Serving as main liaison between clients and Exponent</li>\n <li>Overseeing performance of Exponent’s team and quality of our services and deliverables</li>\n <li>Advising and assisting clients in areas of construction advisory, including but not limited to portfolio, program, and project management; project controls and scheduling; process improvements; risk and performance management; data analytics and information management; change management; and dispute avoidance</li>\n <li>Recruiting, developing, and mentoring staff in the areas of construction advisory consulting</li>\n <li>Promoting Exponent's expertise in construction advisory by meeting with potential clients, presenting at conferences, writing thought leadership articles and white papers, and conducting seminars</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>You will have the following skills and qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>M.S. or M.S.E. in Nuclear Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management </li>\n <li>Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management and project advisory</li>\n <li><p>Experience in wildfire risk, enterprise risk management, and asset management</p></li>\n <li>Significant experience in construction advisory, including but not limited to portfolio, program, and project management, project controls and scheduling, risk management and performance monitoring, process improvements, data analytics and information management, change management, dispute avoidance, and other areas of construction consulting services</li>\n <li>Proven business development and client management track record, and the ability to attract projects to support full-time staff</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Applicants are encouraged to submit a CV (Curriculum Vitae) with publications (feel free to include publications that are in review or pending) [not restricted to 1 page].  </em></p>\n<h2>Life @ Exponent</h2>\n<p>To learn more about life at Exponent and our impact, please visit the following links:https://www.exponent.com/careers/life-exponenthttps://www.exponent.com/company/our-impact</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Attracting, inspiring, developing, and rewarding exceptional people with diverse backgrounds and expertise are central to our corporate culture. Exponent's total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent.
