    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Scope of Job:&nbsp;</strong>The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring product produced meets safety, regulatory, and company quality standards through testing on raw material, in-process checks, finished good testing and daily audits of the facility. Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for reporting out of specification data to supervisors as well as responsible departments.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Provide suggestions / strategies to help maintain consistent and quality products.</li><li>Perform analysis on in process batches to ensure compliance to tech standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform analysis of raw materials to ensure ingredients are received within specifications.</li><li>Perform post incubation testing of finished goods to confirm commercial sterility.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform seal inspection and lab analysis of MRE items (Creek facility only)</li><li>Escalate out of specification results to supervisor and responsible departments.&nbsp;</li><li>Set up, participate, and clear daily sensory&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor ingredient storage in warehouse for proper rotation and usage of materials including proper storage based on allergen and ingredient type.</li><li>Perform daily audits (as scheduled) to ensure systems and policy compliance including line audits.</li><li>Support continuous improvement activities as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with production and support departments to ensure food safety and the quality of our products.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Education:</strong> High School Diploma or GED required. An associate&rsquo;s degree is preferred.</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong> minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a quality assurance or quality control role in manufacturing required. Food industry experience is preferred. Proficient in utilizing Microsoft suites including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Competencies:&nbsp;</strong>Batch Testing, Inspection, Non-destructive Testing, Precision Measurement, Product QA, Quality Assurance Process, Quality Control/Testing, Quality Improvement, Quality Inspection, Total Quality Management (TQM), Product Specifications, Inspection Documentation, Quality Management System (QMS), Problem-Solving Skills, Detail Oriented, Organization Skills, Adaptable, Communication Skills, Time Management, Proactive, Adaptive, Integrity and Operational Excellence. <strong><br></strong></p><p><strong><strong data-pasted=\"true\">Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></strong>Requires prolonged standing, squatting, and walking.
