Overview Position Overview At Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), we’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Field Installer to support our commercial projects from the ground up. In this hands-on role, you’ll deliver and install commercial building specialties such as school lockers, warehouse racking systems and commercial toilet partitions and accessories, observe field work for quality and compliance, and help ensure accurate, timely installations. Working closely with our VP of Field Operations, you’ll play a vital role in bridging field and office operations, gaining exposure to all aspects of project execution. Responsibilities and Qualifications Key Responsibilities Field Operations Install lockers, toilet partitions, accessories, shelving systems, and related products according to plans and specifications Maintains a set of marked-up record drawings for construction projects Observes work in progress to determine if procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications Repair & Record Management Schedule repair work orders Maintain accurate records for easy reference and reporting Safety Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment Use proper lifting techniques Adhere to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing Physical Requirements Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds, using proper lifting procedures; and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying greater weights. Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces.
