The instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, and documenting each lesson.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan and teach the gymnastics daily sessions</li><li>Teach Saturday morning parent &amp; tot and pre-gym classes.</li><li>Supervise “open gym” time.</li><li>Maintain the gymnastics center in a safe condition.</li><li>Report to director any safety issue.</li><li>Take care of any pre-session and post-session cleaning/maintenance duties.</li><li>Attend scheduled staff meetings.</li><li>Execute a written report on any injuries or accidents that occur while on duty.</li><li>Supervise a birthday party according to the guidelines set forth in the manual.</li><li>Arrive on time, dressed professionally and well-groomed each and every day.</li><li>Responsible for upholding all staff safety requirements including cleaning protocols throughout the day, as required by my department.</li><li>Other duties assigned by Supervisor</li></ul><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT &amp; PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p><ul><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, kneel or stand extended periods of time. The employee frequently is required to reach, and must be able to move around the work environment.</li><li>Requires individual to perform a range of dance movements relative to the classes.</li><li>Ability to lift 40 pounds, bending reaching, and kneeling to execute routines and/or utilize equipment.</li></ul>",
