    "description": "<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<h2>Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Registered Nurse</h2>\n<p><strong>Compensation: </strong>$55.00/hr plus $5.09 for Health and Wellness</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary</strong>The SCI RN provides specialized care for patients with spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions, supporting both acute stabilization and long-term rehabilitation.</p>\n<h2>Primary Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring</li>\n <li>Administer medications, IV therapy, and specialized treatments</li>\n <li>Provide bowel/bladder care and wound management</li>\n <li>Assist with mobility, ADLs, and rehabilitation goals</li>\n <li>Coordinate interdisciplinary care and discharge planning</li>\n <li>Educate patients and families on long-term care needs</li>\n <li>Document care in EHR</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Acute SCI unit and long-term care settings</li>\n <li>Focus on rehabilitation, complication prevention, and quality of life</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)</li>\n <li>Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)</li>\n <li>Current BLS certification (ACLS required for ICU/ED)</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience</li>\n <li>Strong English communication and documentation skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n <li>Completion of VA-required training (safety, HIPAA, EHR, etc.)</li>\n <li>Compliance with credentialing and privileging standards</li>\n <li>Ability to float between units as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Aptive</h2>\n<p>Arrow ARC supports Veterans Health Administration facilities and offices across the U.S. with health care staffing and program support via the 10-year Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP).
