Be part of an extraordinary life!</p><p>Sedgebrook is seeking a hospitality-focused<strong>&nbsp;Maintenance Technician II&nbsp;</strong>to join our team. This role is responsible for the troubleshooting and intermediate repair of apartment and public area equipment along with the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of semi-skilled tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools and equipment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Performs all necessary scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on designated equipment while following manufacturer's recommendations.</li><li>Perform mid-level plumbing work, including isolation valve replacement, mixing valves, shut-off valves, pressure balancing, and leak diagnostics.</li><li>Perform mid-level troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems, including unit diagnosis, airflow issues, controls, thermostats, relays, contactors, and mechanical components.</li><li>Perform mid-level electrical work including troubleshooting circuits, ballasts, drivers, motors, switches, sensors, and control wiring (within non-licensed scope).</li><li>Assist other Maintenance personnel in the completion of special projects, including campus snow removal and carpet removal.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>3+ years of maintenance experience preferred, particularly in a residential apartment complex or healthcare setting.</li><li>Applicants should possess a functional understanding of various maintenance trades.</li><li>HVAC experience preferred.</li><li>Ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
