We are open to discussing future possibilities with candidates who are interested in joining an established, collaborative practice environment.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>About the Opportunity</span></span></p>\n<p>Consider an opportunity to join the professional team of the Child Development Centre in beautiful Whitehorse, Yukon. Our growing team provides quality early intervention services to children from birth – 5 years of age throughout the Yukon. We work as a transdisciplinary team and provide assessment, consultation and intervention for children with a wide variety of needs. We have the opportunity to work with Indigenous children and families and build strong cultural connections. Travel to rural communities may be required. Relocation allowance is available.</p>\n<p>Nestled in iconic Yukon, Whitehorse is a spectacular city with room to spread out and enjoy a variety of activities such as hiking, x-country and downhill skiing, mountain biking and a vast array of arts and cultural activities. Whitehorse offers English first-language, French-first language and French immersion schools.</p>\n<p>Surrounded by mountains and nestled among dense black spruce and poplar forests of the Yukon River Valley, the City of Whitehorse aptly chose “The Wilderness City” as its slogan. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are important.</span></p>\n<p><span>Provisional Psychologists are encouraged to inquire, particularly those seeking a supportive setting to complete supervision hours.
