    "description": "<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">We are looking for CNC Lathe Machinists to join our 1st and 2nd shifts in Santa Clara, CA.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">CNC Lathe Machinist Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Reviews work orders, drawings, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters to run parts according to customer blueprints and instructions</li>\n<li><br>Ability to read and interpret CNC programs to maintain close tolerances (within +/- .0001)</li>\n<li><br>Sets up lathe production equipment for junior CNC Lathe Machinists and conducts tests, analyses, and calibrates components </li>\n<li><br>Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut</li>\n<li><br>Enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media according to established company policy, safety procedures, and vendor standards </li>\n<li><br>Installs, maintains, repairs, rebuilds, and operates a variety of lathe machining tools </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Experience in a precision machine shop environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">Experience on CNC Mill equipment performing set-up and program prove-outs </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> Must interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&amp;T)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\">At least 6 months of experience in machine tool operation or 6 months machining training, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> Training in basic shop and measurement math, including linear measurement, metrics, algebra and geometry</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> Familiarity with ISO documentation and processes is a big plus</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Pay:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> Competitive pay based on experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Employees on the 2nd shift receive an addition 10% differential towards their pay</span></span></span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> 10% differential = Hourly Pay X .10</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> Eligible for Overtime </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> Opportunity for a one-time retention bonus after a set number of completed regular work hours</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> Life and Disability: Life and Accidental Death &amp; Dismemberment, Long Term Disability</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"> 401K Retirement Plan (3% company match)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About us:</span></span><br>A Silicon Valley leader in manufacturing and assemblies, Calmax Technology, Inc. manufactures precision machined parts and provides turnkey assembly to Fortune 500 customers across technology, automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, and medical industries.
