Gilbane is seeking a <strong>Sr. Scheduling Manager - Pharma</strong> to lead the scheduling function for a single Division/Megaproject. You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides oversight relative to all aspects of planning & scheduling for all projects within the BU(s)</li>\n <li>Provides input to the development of project pursuits including fee proposals, RFP responses, presentation content, etc.</li>\n <li>Ensures adequate controls are in place so that proper schedule techniques and update procedures are followed on all projects within a BU</li>\n <li>Reports concerns to BU management regarding proper project controls on any projects within a BU</li>\n <li>Reviews project risk reports and provides feedback and alerts for high-risk jobs in the BU</li>\n <li>Assumes lead role for Scheduling in the BU’s strategic planning process</li>\n <li>Monitors and provides recommendations for Scheduling-related customer satisfaction goals</li>\n <li>Provides input on department workload and deliverables and balances with available backlogged recoveries and recoveries targets</li>\n <li>Participates in the Scheduling peer group by actively leading a subcommittee or group initiative as identified by the yearly Scheduling peer group strategic plan</li>\n <li>Responsible for the career development and coaching of team members</li>\n <li>Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members</li>\n <li>Interprets and translates the organizational strategy, ensuring team understanding of their role in accomplishing strategic goals</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field</li>\n <li>15-20 years of related experience</li>\n <li>Previous scheduling experience on large pharmaceutival or life sciences projects is highly desirable.</li>\n <li>Professional Certification in AACEi, PMI, AGC, CMAA, or similar is recommended</li>\n <li>Or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>In-depth knowledge of construction means, methods, sequences, crew sizes, productivity rates, manpower analysis, cash flow, and CPM scheduling across multiple Markets</li>\n <li>Excellent planning and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills</li>\n <li>Ability to tutor and guide scheduling staff in scheduling fundamentals, procedures, and guidelines</li>\n <li>Deploy and modify scheduling systems as appropriate to support project specific execution requirements</li>\n <li>Implement / effectively use / train on company-standard and industry- standard scheduling tools and systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.</p>\n<p>For Illinois, this ranges from $141,000-$200,100 plus benefits and retirement program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
