We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality psychiatric care to adults and adolescents throughout East Tennessee.</p>\n<p>We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, managing medications, and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.</p>\n<p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Average caseload of 16 patients per day</li>\n <li>Monday–Friday schedule</li>\n <li>One weekend of call/rounding per month</li>\n <li>WellSky EMR</li>\n <li>Supportive team of psychiatrists and psychiatric NPs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation & Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Base salary: $300,000–$310,000 (negotiable)</li>\n <li>Monthly productivity bonus</li>\n <li>Sign-on bonus available</li>\n <li>Relocation assistance available</li>\n <li>$2,500 annual CME allowance</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits package</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>For more information, please contact: Jaylen H at [email protected]</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Summary:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.</li>\n <li>Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.</li>\n <li>Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.</li>\n <li>Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. </li>\n <li>Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.</li>\n <li>Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.</li>\n <li>One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.</li>\n <li>Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses/Certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Board certification in psychiatry</li>\n <li>Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Our Comprehensive Treatment Network</strong> </p>\n<p> ~23,500 Employees · ~11,400 Beds · 258 Locations · 38 States · 1 Network </p>\n<p> As a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services in the United States and Puerto Rico, Acadia Healthcare operates 258 treatment facilities across 38 states.
