    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>Your Opportunity</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>Stantec is seeking entry and mid-level on-call Biologists to join our Environmental Services Practice working within Northern California to provide as-needed biological support over multiple projects and programs. This position may include writing reports, collecting and reviewing biological data, field surveys, habitat assessments, and biological monitoring. The position is to be based out of our Redding, Eureka, or Chico offices.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Your Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>As an on-call Biologist, you may work in highly variable terrains, environments, and locations.&nbsp; This position is primarily field based but can include desktop work pending on interest and experience. You will perform as-needed biological support.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Task duties include:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Assist and/or lead fieldwork assignments, as needed, such as nesting bird surveys, vegetation community assessments, wetland delineation and classification, special-status plant and wildlife surveys, and compliance monitoring.</span></li>\n <li><span>Communicating with your team, team leads, project manager and potentially construction crews, clients, or other stakeholders.</span></li>\n <li><span>Preparing daily monitoring and/or field reports.</span></li>\n <li><span>Identification and support on environmental permitting on various projects located throughout California.</span></li>\n</ul>",
