We're looking for reliable Community Support Workers who can support participants living with mental health challenges — including complex behaviours and dual diagnosis (drug &amp; alcohol) in<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bradbury 2560</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Please read this information carefully before applying. Failure to answer them correctly will result in automatic disqualification.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Details of participant:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Mature Female participant with Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health complexity, Alcohol and Drug Abuse and refusals. Home Environment can be unclean and participant may experience incontinence.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Supports:<span> </span><em>(<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Females only</span></em><span> </span>-<span> </span><em>Due to the nature of personal care and privacy requirements, this role is open to female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement).</em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Urgent shifts available:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45)\">Monday: 10am to 2pm </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45)\">Tuesday: 10am to 2pm </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45)\">Wednesday: 3pm to 7pm </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45)\">Thursday: 3pm to 7pm </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Other shifts: </span></p>\n<p><span>Monday to Thursday: 10am to 2pm and 3pm to 7pm  Friday: 10am to 2pm  Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 2pm and 3pm to 7pm </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities of this role:</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience supporting people with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">complex needs</span>, ABI, and/or mental health</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-size: 12pt\">Supervision and prompting of medication administration</span></li>\n<li>Strong emotional regulation and calm communication style</li>\n<li>Use validation, reassurance, and redirection during distress</li>\n<li>Respect choice and control, including refusal of support</li>\n<li>Follow Behaviour Support Plans and safety protocols</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate, objective documentation</li>\n<li>Personal care and manual handling when necessary</li>\n<li>Assistance with hygiene, cleaning, and bedding</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential requirements of this role:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">A reliable car with comprehensive insurance (mandatory)</span>, Australian driver's licence, and willingness to travel across Sydney</li>\n<li>Proven reliability, professionalism, and excellent communication</li>\n<li>Minimum 6 months experience in mental health, disability support, or community services (or Certificate IV in Mental Health)</li>\n<li>Calm under pressure; strong judgment and boundaries</li>\n<li>Smartphone literacy for rostering and documentation</li>\n<li>NDIS Worker Screening Check</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Working With Children Check (NSW)</li>\n<li>First Aid &amp; CPR</li>\n<li>Police Check</li>\n<li>Unrestricted work rights in Australia</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why join SHCS</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consistent shifts with a supportive team and on-the-ground coaching</li>\n<li>Pathway to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">part-time employment</span> after consistent performance</li>\n<li>Paid training and upskilling in behaviour support and mental health</li>\n<li>Competitive Award pay with penalties and allowances, plus KM reimbursement</li>\n<li>Meaningful work where your reliability genuinely changes lives</li>\n</ul>",
