We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more for most full-time positions!</p>\n<p>Start your phenomenal career with Allied Universal today!</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>Allied Universal is seeking\n<strong> Security Professional - Casual</strong> \n<strong> Job Title</strong>: Security Professional- Casual\n<strong>Job Location</strong>: Calgary, Alberta\n<strong>Job Type</strong>: Casual\n<strong>Pay Rate</strong>: $20 per hour\n<strong>Shifts</strong> : Days , Evening, Overnight- Must have open availability    \n<strong><u>Requirement</u>:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills are essential.</li>\n <li>Experience with report writing and note-taking.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.</li>\n <li>Valid <strong>Alberta security guard license and Driving License.</strong></li>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada</li>\n <li>First Aid and CPR</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li>\n</ul> \n<strong><u>Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions</u> :</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Access control for the facility/area</li>\n <li>Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times</li>\n <li>Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate</li>\n <li>Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property etc.</li>\n <li>Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies</li>\n <li>Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager</li>\n <li>Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents</li>\n <li>Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<strong><u>Benefits</u>:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong><u>Disclaimer</u>:</strong> As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
