Overview The Vice President of Property Management plans, directs, and coordinates activities relating to the organization’s commercial and multi-family real estate portfolio in addition to leading, managing and developing the departmental team members. Ensures that established goals and objectives are accomplished with prescribed priorities, time limitations, and with fiscal responsibilities. Advises, recommends, and assists in the formulation of goals and objectives. Designs, implements, and monitors departmental policies, procedures, and programs. Ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships. Bachelor’s Degree in a closely related field required Minimum 10-15 years’ experience performing supervisory responsibilities Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in commercial property management Minimum 2-3 experience with multi-family management. Experience in leasing, lease negotiations and lease documentation. Extensive experience with financial analysis, budget preparation and proven financial performer Extensive experience working in Yardi accounting software. Responsibilities What you'll be doing: Must demonstrate and model Broder Sachse’s core values Commercial Leasing Participation in Acquisition and Development underwriting, due diligence, and property on-boarding. Recruiting, coaching, teaching, training, and developing team members to their highest level Performing workforce planning in assessing operational and staffing needs to retain and maximize current team members and needs in attracting top talent Develop KPIs to monitor operational and financial performance driving the Company’s strategic objectives. Performing regular property inspections, and documenting/reporting findings Elevating the financial knowledge of the team to ensure accountability of operational and financial performance Analyzing and preparing operational and financial data including financials, annual budgets, control of expenditures, cash flow projections, and capital expenditure recommendations Capital improvement planning and execution. Overseeing the financial performance of the properties and providing highest level of service and fiscal responsibility to owners Analyze market rents to position properties to rent quickly and maximize revenue Evaluating, developing, documenting, and implementing processes and practices Maintaining effective meeting pulses within and outside of the departmental team with transparent collaborative communication Developing a tenant retention program to enhance the tenant experience and to maintain positive brand recognition in the commercial and residential market Interview, recommend, hire, and monitor 3rd party leasing teams, including building relationships with brokerage community Championing company culture and serving as a strategic business partner to the leadership team Performing other work-related duties as assigned Disclosure Our company is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace that is strives for inclusion.
