We currently have an opportunity for a <strong>Continuous Improvement Manager</strong> at our manufacturing plant in Appleton, WI.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<p>As a Continuous Improvement Manager you will be responsible for facilitating, auditing, and supporting continuous improvement at the Appleton plant. The role includes, above all, improving safety processes and Leader Standard Work to continuously promote safety culture.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead, build, and implement broad process improvements.</li>\n <li>Develop reports for and provide data interpretations as required.</li>\n <li>Where applicable, comply with the SQF, FDA, BRC and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.</li>\n <li>Provide mentoring, and development planning for leaders as requested by local management.</li>\n <li>Provide training of Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques.</li>\n <li>Conduct SQP and other Quality Audits in support of Quality Systems.</li>\n <li>Support management practices that foster a positive, safe work environment, promotes high morale, and encourages teamwork.</li>\n <li>Responsible for managing project priorities and dependencies within the program.</li>\n <li>Collaborates with business stakeholders to prepare business cases, program scope, assumptions and constraints, and identify the component projects.</li>\n <li>Coaches and mentors project managers in best practices, use of the methodology, and leadership.</li>\n <li>Conducts monthly program progress meetings with project managers.</li>\n <li>Provides weekly dashboard progress reports, including detail on project schedule, costs, scope, risks, accomplishments and issues.</li>\n <li>Identifies and assists in resolving or escalating issues.</li>\n <li>Facilitates post implementation review sessions and documents lessons learned.</li>\n <li>Provides status reports and presentations to staff and business leaders as requested.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>You will love it here if…</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>You put safety first, always</li>\n <li>You listen, learn, and evolve</li>\n <li>You are passionate about collaboration, teamwork, and achieving shared goals</li>\n <li>You treat all people with respect, operating ethically, and embrace inclusivity</li>\n <li>You are committed to improving our impact on local communities</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>We need you to have:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BA/BS degree in Engineering or 5 years equivalent CI experience.</li>\n <li>5 years of related professional experience within a manufacturing operation.</li>\n <li>5+ years of related Lean Manufacturing and Process Management experience.</li>\n <li>Solid experience with employee safety and safety programs.</li>\n <li>Proficient in methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively manage change and address resistance.</li>\n <li>Understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Office.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.</li>\n <li>Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.</li>\n <li>Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Icing on the cake:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> MBA or other advanced degree a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Want to know more?
