    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Assure prompt and efficient maintenance of all communities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Check with supervisor for each day's schedule.</li>\n<li>Inspect appliances, etc., routinely to make minor repairs as preventive maintenance.</li>\n<li>Replace furnace/air conditioner filters on a regularly scheduled basis.</li>\n<li>Keep door knobs and locks on doors/windows working properly.</li>\n<li>Assure that exterior of community (including porches and guardrails) is in good order and that scheduled yard work, etc. has been completed.</li>\n<li>Replace any broken windows and make sure all windows can be raised/lowered easily.</li>\n<li>Make sure alarm systems are operating properly.</li>\n<li>Monitor roof and plumbing of each community for leaks.</li>\n<li>Monitor condition of furnishings and report when they need replacing.</li>\n<li>Keep fire extinguishers updated and check for fire hazards (receptacles, panel boxes, wiring).</li>\n<li>Handle problems as they arise.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as required by circumstances.</li>\n<li>Help maintain the self-respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each resident.</li>\n<li>Be familiar with and able to apply all the home's accident, fire safety, OSHA and emergency procedures.</li>\n<li>Be familiar with the Adult Care Home Residents' Bill of Rights and assist residents with exercising these rights.</li>\n<li>Assure careful treatment of Adult Care Home equipment and utilization of supplies.</li>\n<li>Be responsible for reading and adhering to all Adult Care Home and employee policies.</li>\n<li>Participate in job-related continuing education as required by ED/Administrator.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<li>Must possess relative experience or meet competency requirements</li>\n<li>Must be able to read, write, understand and follow directions</li>\n<li>Must not have substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program</li>\n<li>Must have a clear SBI and DMV record and maintain them during period of employment</li>\n<li><p>Must have a valid NC Driver's License.</p></li>\n<li><p> Must have had at least 8 years of driving experience, as this is a requirement of company's liability insurance carrier.</p></li>\n<li>Must be able to Lift, Push, & Pull a Minimum of 50 Pounds</li>",
