Our residents have experienced significant trauma, resulting in behavioral, emotional, and functional/developmental issues. We offer an extensive independent living skills program, including vocational preparation and educational services that assist youth in reaching independence. The Clinical Director has full responsibility for the ongoing clinical and administrative guidance of the clinical staff members, providing ongoing training, supervision, and guidance to staff.<br><br><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW:</strong><br>The Clinical Director has full responsibility for the ongoing clinical and administrative guidance of the clinical staff. She/He also provided ongoing training, supervision, and guidance to the clinical staff. The Clinical Director is the ITM (Integrated Treatment Model) liaison for the program. The Clinical Director is fully familiar with the Regulatory requirements and Agency/ Divisional clinical standards and practices. S/he functions as an internal resource on such matters. The Clinical Director is a senior member of the residential management team. In addition, s/he must provide safe, high-quality programs and adhere to the company policies and procedures. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team member, the Clinical Director must ensure the integrity of treatment planning processes and maintenance of the highest documentation standards as required by regulations and professional scope of practice.<br><br><strong>KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>Provides regularly scheduled supervision to all clinical staff members.</li><li>Evaluates and assesses treatment and service plans.</li><li>Evaluates clinical staff, provides training through regular supervision.</li><li>May carry a caseload, as needed.</li><li>Active participant in the intake process for new referrals, and reviews clients’ ongoing service/ treatment plans.</li><li>Ensures all clinical needs of the client are met through the course of the youth’s placement.</li><li>Ensures appropriate supervision of all program Interns, either through direct supervision or by overseeing the clinical supervision provided by the social worker.</li><li>May run specialized groups to meet the needs of the program.</li><li>Is a key staff resource for community outreach efforts and may perform such outreach and establish linkages with other groups, individuals, or organizations that may be helpful to our clients.</li><li>Provides all necessary notes, progress notes, Risk Assessments, and other paperwork as required.</li><li>May cover for the Assistant Director in his/her absence</li><li>Assists in the day-to-day working of the model – skills groups assistance, modeling, coaching skills reinforcement, and teaching skills on the fly.</li></ul><p>• Program development, documentation review, material design, and curriculum development are all major tasks<br>• Oversees data tracking, collection, analysis, and reporting via the Program Implementation Review (PIR)<br>• Troubleshoot implementation barriers, put action steps in place to address barriers, and track progress<br>  toward goals<br>• Participates in ongoing training and efforts that develop expertise in ITM(DBT) so they are able to be culture<br>  carriers of the ITM in their organization.<br>• Other duties as assigned<br><br>MANAGEMENT:</p><ul><li>Hires and provides clinical and administrative supervision to the Clinical Supervisor, Behavioral Health Clinicians, as well as other clinical staff.</li><li>Manage risk regarding client safety by adhering to all risk management protocols.</li></ul><p><br><strong>CORE COMPETENCIES for the position include:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to write policy, procedures, and protocols.</li><li>Ability to assess program needs, increase efficiencies, and build teams.</li><li>Ability to develop and execute strategic plans with staff members to enhance programming.</li><li>Empathy for youth and families, and a passion for including youth and family voices in child welfare programming operations.</li><li>Capacity to lead and supervise an array of child/adolescent-focused services within a milieu treatment setting.</li><li>Expands and develops youth-guided family-driven care.</li><li>Embodies Sanctuary principles & values and ensures an integration of said principles throughout the program.</li><li>Supports and Strengthens Interdisciplinary practice.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.</li><li>Skilled in using Data to Inform & Guide Practice.</li><li>Values and Demonstrates Cultural Competency.</li><li>Values professional development and participation in supervision and training.</li></ul><p><br><strong>EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIRED:</strong><br>• LCSW, LMSW, or a master’s degree in social work.
