Description

Job Summary Ergonomic Solutions, Inc. (ESi) is seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our fabrication team in Wichita, KS. This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling structural steel and custom industrial equipment including overhead crane systems, mezzanines, conveyor structures, and material handling equipment. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication experience, can read and interpret shop drawings, and is capable of working independently in a fast-paced fabrication environment. Key Responsibilities MIG weld structural steel and fabricated assemblies Read and interpret fabrication drawings and shop prints Fit, fabricate, and assemble structural steel components and equipment Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, grinders, and ironworkers Perform layout work and verify dimensions prior to fabrication Load and unload material using forklifts and overhead cranes Grind, prep, and finish fabricated components as required Maintain quality standards and safe work practices Maintain a clean and organized work area Coordinate with engineering and production teams to support fabrication schedules Qualifications Previous welding and structural steel fabrication experience MIG welding experience required Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings Fitting and layout experience Experience with industrial or custom fabricated equipment preferred Strong attention to quality, safety, and reliability Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
