Utilize skills in reception, transcription, maintaining medical records and clerical duties. Other duties as assigned.</p><p style=\"margin-left:13.6pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\"><strong>Rhythm&nbsp;Strip Interpretation:</strong></span></p><p style=\"margin-left:13.6pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\">The&nbsp;Monitor&nbsp;Tech&nbsp;(MT)&nbsp;will&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a&nbsp;baseline&nbsp;level&nbsp;of&nbsp;ECG&nbsp;monitoring&nbsp;for&nbsp;all&nbsp;ordered&nbsp;patients,&nbsp;detect&nbsp;and&nbsp;alert nursing staff to significant dysrhythmias, and perform continuous monitoring and intermittent recording on patients in crisis.</span></p><ol><li><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\">Respond&nbsp;promptly&nbsp;to&nbsp;monitor&nbsp;alarms&nbsp;and&nbsp;takes&nbsp;appropriate action.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\">Record,&nbsp;interpret,&nbsp;post&nbsp;and&nbsp;report&nbsp;rhythms&nbsp;on&nbsp;all&nbsp;monitored&nbsp;patients&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;scheduled&nbsp;times&nbsp;and&nbsp;as needed.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\">Recognize&nbsp;dangerous&nbsp;dysrhythmias&nbsp;and&nbsp;promptly&nbsp;notify&nbsp;the&nbsp;appropriate&nbsp;nurse&nbsp;caring&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;patient&nbsp;and the ICU/PCU Clinical Lead assigned to the patient.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\">Recognize&nbsp;significant&nbsp;rhythm&nbsp;changes,&nbsp;record&nbsp;them,&nbsp;and&nbsp;notify&nbsp;the&nbsp;ICU/PCU&nbsp;Clinical&nbsp;Lead&nbsp;assigned&nbsp;to&nbsp;the patient.</span></li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:13.6pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\"><strong>Patient&nbsp;Management&nbsp;and&nbsp;Disposition:</strong></span></p><ol><li><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\">Give&nbsp;report&nbsp;to&nbsp;oncoming&nbsp;MT,&nbsp;reflecting&nbsp;the&nbsp;last&nbsp;12&nbsp;hours&nbsp;of&nbsp;patient&nbsp;activity.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\">Run&nbsp;rhythm&nbsp;strips,&nbsp;identify&nbsp;rhythm,&nbsp;and&nbsp;deliver&nbsp;to&nbsp;appropriate&nbsp;ICU/PCU&nbsp;Clinical&nbsp;Lead&nbsp;assigned&nbsp;to&nbsp;the patient.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\">The&nbsp;MT&nbsp;will&nbsp;initial&nbsp;each strip.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size:11.5pt;\">The&nbsp;MT&nbsp;will&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a&nbsp;flow&nbsp;sheet&nbsp;documenting&nbsp;each&nbsp;patient’s&nbsp;rhythm&nbsp;and&nbsp;ectopy&nbsp;over&nbsp;the&nbsp;course&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;day.
