While this role is not currently tied to a specific contract, selected candidates may be considered for upcoming positions based on their experience, qualifications, and program needs.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Odyssey Systems is recruiting <strong>Senior FMS Systems Engineer</strong> candidates to support the Attack Systems Division, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.  WID is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Duties include, but not limited to: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possess the advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered highly skilled in FMS Engineering Management Support. Must work independently and be able to apply procedures.</li>\n <li>Translate FMS user requirements into system requirements which will be used by the weapon system contractor to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate systems, subsystems, and equipment for deployment.</li>\n <li>Assist in performing technical/mission analyses of operational requirements, assist in developing system concepts, and perform technological/trade-off study assessments of proposed designs. </li>\n <li>Assist with processes for drafting project documentation including, SOOs and SOWs, program plans, schedules, and presentations. </li>\n <li>Assist in drafting regulatory and statutory documentation to include, but not be limited to, the SEP and life cycle management plan. </li>\n <li>Assist in reviewing Contractor documents and data and providing comments. </li>\n <li>Assist test teams in the development of test requirements, and review test plans. </li>\n <li>Assist in reviewing and analyzing technical proposals or modifications for cost, design feasibility and system compatibility. </li>\n <li>Assist in supporting and conducting engineering performance, effectiveness, cost effectiveness, cost performance, life-cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical/schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade-off studies. </li>\n <li>Assist in supporting the evaluation of IMP, IMS, and SEDS engineering cost estimates. </li>\n <li>Assist in the evaluation of systems test plans (such as systems test plans/test and evaluation master plans) and participate in the conduct of system, subsystem, and component testing. </li>\n <li>Provide systems/subsystems integration support for the acquisition, development, and verification of systems and equipment.</li>\n <li>Apply common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future joint service weapon systems.</li>\n <li>Apply knowledge of Airworthiness Certification Criteria, to aircraft systems and subsystems.</li>\n <li>Support the acquisition program management of full life cycle requirements, subsystems, and equipment.</li>\n <li>Support performance of disciplined engineering activities to assure Occupational Safety, Suitability and Effectiveness (OSS&E) for all products.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Citizenship:</strong> Must be a US citizen</p>\n<p><strong>Clearance</strong><strong>: </strong>Secret</p>\n<p><strong>Education and </strong><strong>Years of Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Journeyman: Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Senior: Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience.</li>\n <li>Principal: Master’s degree and 20 years of relevant experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Additional Information</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio</p>\n<p><strong>Travel: </strong>10%</p>\n<p><strong>Onsite</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-NG1</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Odyssey </strong>is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
