Summers here involve boats, beaches and far fewer municipal snow clearing debates than the rest of us endure.</p><p>We’re looking for a Kelowna-based&#xa0;<strong>Project Director</strong>&#xa0;to confidently step up from Senior PM into Project Director in ~six months, running ground‑up commercial, institutional, and multi‑residential projects from design through close‑out.&#xa0;</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><strong>Own full lifecycle delivery</strong> of ground‑up commercial, institutional, and multi‑residential projects from preconstruction through close‑out.</li><li><strong>Lead design review and constructability</strong> input; develop winning methodologies and clear scopes.</li><li><strong>Estimate and control budgets</strong> at Class D, Class B and Tender levels; prepare tender recaps and manage subtrade buy‑outs.</li><li><strong>Manage contract strategy and administration</strong> for open CM (CCDC 5A/5B) and converted CM (CCDC 2) models; execute CM conversions through risk identification and tender recap.</li><li><strong>Develop construction sequencing, site logistics, and methodology</strong> to optimize safety, productivity and schedule.</li><li><strong>Drive forecasting and financial reporting </strong>-<strong>&#xa0;</strong>maintain accurate forecasts, manage change orders, and protect margin.</li><li><strong>Identify and mitigate risk; capture opportunities</strong> throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li><strong>Mentor and develop project teams</strong> including PMs, coordinators, superintendents and support staff.</li><li><strong>Foster client, consultant and subcontractor relationships</strong> to secure repeat business and strong referrals.</li><li><strong>Support business development</strong> by contributing to proposals, scopes, and client presentations.</li><li><strong>Embed continuous improvement and safety excellence</strong>—standardize lessons learned and reinforce WorkSafeBC best practices.</li></ul>",
