The Spray Painter contributes to maintaining a clean, organized workspace while adhering to company safety protocols.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>· Clean surfaces by removing grease, dirt, and other contaminants using materials such as lacquer thinner, turpentine, soap, and water.</p><p>· Select and mix coating liquids to match desired colors and specifications using paddle or mechanical mixers.</p><p>· Pour coating liquids into spray containers, connect spray guns to air hoses, and adjust sprayer valves and nozzles for optimal spray width and pressure.</p><p>· Skillfully apply primers and finishing coats by directing the spray gun to ensure even coverage and quality finish.</p><p>· Remove rust from metal surfaces using grinders, wire brushes, or steel wool as needed.</p><p>· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.</p><p>· Operate overhead cranes and monorail paint hoists to manage and position items for painting.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>· High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.</p><p>· Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts is essential.</p><p>· Must pass a pulmonary fit test to meet safety and health standards.</p><p>· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.</p><p>· Familiarity with industrial painting techniques and safety practices.</p><p>· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong> This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.</p>",
