From construction management and observation/inspection services to laboratory testing and materials and forensic engineering, our Construction Services market helps to develop and maintain America's infrastructure and supply chain and is a recognized industry leader with more than 25 accredited laboratories.  </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Step into Your New Role</strong>  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Kleinfelder is seeking a Construction Inspector who is interested in joining a dynamic team and building their career in the field of construction management and engineering. <strong>This position is available in our Boston, MA office.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate brings a robust background in <strong>urban infrastructure</strong>, specifically utility work – primarily water and sewer pipeline and rehabilitation. They must demonstrate a high aptitude for identifying and resolving surface restoration conflicts, working safely, and working in a team centered environment. Additionally, proficiency in <strong>documentation</strong> of contractor operations is required to ensure alignment with engineering plans and specifications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working knowledge of the principles and practices of Civil Engineering and Construction Methods, Materials and Equipment.</li>\n <li>Responsible for interpreting plans and specifications as required to prepare, present, evaluate, monitor, and maintain project records and documents.</li>\n <li>Follow and adhere to all federal and state regulations, client requirements and contracts, and company policies and procedures including but not limited to, safety, ADA requirements, or environmental regulations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.</li>\n <li>4-10 years of related experience in construction inspection or oversight focused on utility work – primarily water and sewer pipeline and rehabilitation.</li>\n <li>Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of drawings, plans, specifications, and general contract documents.</li>\n <li>Valid state driver’s license.</li>\n <li>Ability to work under unfavorable weather conditions year-round and traverse rough, steep terrain while performing duties.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Following an offer, candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Move Forward with Kleinfelder:</strong> Kleinfelder and its’ subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
