We are seeking a people-focused, customer-driven Business Office Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building meaningful relationships, and takes pride in creating exceptional first impressions.
Position Overview
The Business Office Manager plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the community, serving as both a leader and the face of the front desk . This position combines administrative leadership, financial oversight, and hospitality-driven service.
You will:
Work the front desk Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Oversee and support a team of receptionists covering evening and overnight shifts
Ensure smooth business office operations including billing, accounts payable/receivable, and onboarding
Help create a welcoming, professional, and kindness-driven culture for residents, families, and team members
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, values accountability, and wants to grow their career in senior living.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Customer Experience
Serve as the primary point of contact and first impression for all residents, guests, and prospective residents
Create a warm, welcoming, and hospitality-driven environment where kindness is evident in every interaction
Support the sales experience by engaging with prospects and contributing to positive tours and visits
Leadership & Team Support
Oversee and support reception staff across evening and overnight shifts
Train, coach, and ensure consistency in front desk operations and service standards
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and kindness
Business Office Operations
Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and resident billing
Ensure timely rent collection and accurate financial processing
Maintain organized and compliant financial and administrative records
Onboarding & HR Support
Oversee the onboarding process for new team members, including paperwork and orientation
Partner with department leaders to ensure new hires are properly trained, welcomed, and supported during their first 30 days
Help create a positive and engaging employee experience
Administrative Support
Support the Executive Director with administrative and operational tasks
Assist in maintaining efficient and organized business office functions
What We’re Looking For

Self-starter with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience with billing, AP/AR, or administrative operations preferred
