Description

As Xradar’s Concrete Coring Technician , you will be responsible for executing advanced core drilling operations on a variety of job sites. This is an exciting opportunity to take on diverse and complex projects that bring fresh challenges every day. You’ll work in the field, applying expert knowledge to deliver high-quality work while prioritizing safety and professionalism. As a Concrete Coring Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Executing precise core drilling by interpreting technical drawings and slab markings Preparing and maintaining job sites, including setup and cleanup Operating and maintaining coring equipment and tools Following strict health and safety protocols at all times Recording job details and ensuring site documentation is accurate Communicating professionally with clients on-site and explaining processes or limitations when needed Transporting equipment using company vehicles and maintaining related logs On your resume, we will be looking for the following: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in concrete coring or a related trade Strong technical knowledge of core drilling equipment with the ability to work independently and troubleshoot on-site Solid understanding of construction safety standards and procedures Valid Class 5 BC driver's license (required for company vehicle use) A reliable, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset Previous experience working in varied job site conditions is a plus During the interview process, we will be looking for: How you demonstrate our shared value set of excellence (pushing yourself to be the very best), innovation (your ability to try new things and be okay with failing), community (how you give to your community, either micro or macro) and honesty (how you own your mistakes, even if it might mean you don’t always look as good as you hoped!)
